Taipei 101 is in the Xinyi District,Taipei,Taiwan.Formerly this building was known as the Taipei World Financial Center.The building ranked officially number one tallest building in the world from 2004 to 2010 before the opening of Burj tower in Dubai.This building is awarded as LEED Platinum certification which means the building got the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.This is the largest and tallest green building in the world.
In each and every year new year is celebrated hugely in this building.Lighting and fireworks take palace in this building and huge number of people gather to see this.
Taipei 101 comprises 5 floors under ground and 101 floors above ground.The building is typhoons and earthquake proof.
